The mapping process workshopped in class today was long, yet effective. First we selected an image to trace onto tracing paper. After that we traced the image again using carbon paper, followed by free-hand drawing the image. Finally, we used tracing paper to create a word map on each drawing that we had produced in that session.
For my final mapping project, I am interested in producing a word map, so I found today’s workshop extremely helpful and it gave me a lot of insight into what completing a word map would be like.
